Standard Kobe Vibes Tour
- Walk up the hill to the Kitano Ijinkan area – where foreign traders built their homes over 100 years ago. Step back into the Meiji Era as we enter some of these old houses.
- Rub Porcellino’s snout to bring yourself good luck and relax for a moment in the peaceful garden.
- Enter the education shrine nearby, where you can pray for good grades or acceptance into a good university.
- Stroll through a beautiful Japanese garden made serene by the walls around it that block out the city. Feed the carp and view the beautiful pleasure barge from the Edo Era that has been preserved here.
- Visit one of the oldest shrines in all Japan, which was founded by a Japanese empress in the year 201. Discover the interesting story behind this shrine and the history that involves the forest behind the shrine.
- Browse the myriad shops, restaurants, and food stall in Kobe’s Chinatown – one of only three in Japan. I’ll take you into one shop where the selection of unique and interesting items never fails to amaze.
- Be my guest for a tasty lunch set at a small Chinese restaurant in Chinatown, and enjoy a tasty main dish with a serving of Chinese dumplings on the side and a refreshing dessert.
- Take a visit to the Kobe waterfront, where you’ll encounter a dancing fish, the iconic Kobe Port tower, and get a true feel for the fantastic recovery Kobe went through after the devastating earthquake of 1995.
